Maskwitches of Forgotten Doggerland has options to create characters by picking from lists, or rolling on them. Indeed, all the tables of any kind in Maskwitches are presented in batches of 6 so you can always just roll a dice when you need some random inspiration.
Using those tables, we’ve made a Witch Generator web app which lets you automate this process to make random characters. You can use these right away, or use them as a starting point to customise them using the book.
We’ve focused on utility with this generator, allowing you to print the text cleanly without clutter, or copy and paste it where you like.
When you generate a character you’ll get a name, a nickname, two masks, two amulets, two pieces of information that your witch knows – and these are purposefully rambling stories with a lot of elements, and a piece of wisdom.
We’re always working on new features for our web apps, so keep an eye on this page for new developments. There is a known issue with Safari, where the border doesn’t display correctly, and the print option has some issues. We recommend using a different browser for the time being.
